Tulip Time Festival

29th Sep 2014 | Blog | Kym Burrows

Wow.....what a hectic weekend!!!
I was at the Tulip Time Market Days on Saturday and Sunday in Bowral's Corbett Gardens. Meanwhile, on Sunday Matthew was running a stall at "Hillview," Sutton Forest, where the local farmers' we're running an Open Gardens Event raising money for the farmers' who are fighting against "Hume Coal"(POSCO....a Korean Company) putting a coal mine in the middle of prime agricultural land!!!

The Tulip Time markets were very busy, as were Corbett Gardens. The beautiful Tulips of The Southern Highlands region were out in mass. The displays look beautiful at the moment. The weather was just magical over the whole weekend.

If you were unable to make it this year.....mark it in your diaries for next year. Dates are not set yet but always starting on the first weekend with the Food and Wine Festival, usually mid September. Check "Destination Southern Highlands" Website.
